Strawberry Fix

Ingredients

• 2 oz bourbon
• ½ oz lemon juice
• ¾ oz simple syrup (jalapeño syrup is great)
• 2–3 strawberries
• Jalapeño half-moon, for garnish

Steps

1. Smash the strawberries in a shaker.
2. Add the rest with crushed ice and shake for six to eight seconds.
3. Pour unstrained into the glass and garnish with a jalapeño half-moon.

Notes

• Rating: A with jalapeño syrup.
• Batch: 12 strawberries (mashed), 4 lemons, 16 oz bourbon, 6 oz jalapeño syrup. Add crushed ice and shake/stir.
