Opening Shot

Ingredients

• 1 oz bourbon
• ½ oz sweet vermouth (Strucchi Rosso preferred)
• ⅙ oz grenadine (Monin preferred)

Steps

1. Pre-chill a shot glass.
2. Shake all ingredients with ice.
3. Fine-strain into the chilled glass.

Notes

• Essentially a small, sweeter Manhattan-style shot.
• Double the quantities and strain into a Martini glass for a full-size drink.
