Maple Jalapeño Bourbon

Ingredients

• 2 oz bourbon
• ½ oz maple syrup
• 8 half-moon jalapeño slices, plus 5 seeds
• ¼ lemon, squeezed
• Long jalapeño strips and a lemon slice, for garnish

Steps

1. Muddle the jalapeño slices and seeds with the maple syrup.
2. Squeeze in the lemon, add the bourbon, and stir over ice.
3. Fine-strain onto fresh ice.
4. Garnish with long jalapeño strips and a lemon slice.
